Who stands behind GeneticCoding
A business that handles the most personal data in existence owes you more than a privacy policy. It owes you a governance layer: named ownership, documented policy, and accountable oversight. Here is ours.
Ownership structure
GeneticCoding.com is owned and operated by BP Technologies LLC, which is in turn owned by its parent LLC. To confirm the current active organizational structure, please inquire at privacy@geneticcoding.com.
Our governance layer
Documented data-handling policy
Every category of genetic data we touch — uploads, reports, monitoring artifacts — is governed by a written data-handling policy that defines permitted uses, retention windows, and deletion mechanics. Policy changes are versioned and re-consented, never applied retroactively.
Named privacy point of contact
A single, accountable address for every privacy question, request, or concern: privacy@geneticcoding.com. Privacy inquiries are answered by a human being, not a ticket queue.
Board-level oversight of sensitive data
Decisions that touch genetic data — adopting a new data category, changing retention, engaging a new vendor — are never made unilaterally. They rise to the ownership and advisory layer of BP Technologies LLC for review and sign-off.
Oversight in practice
- Every new data category, retention change, or third-party engagement is reviewed and approved at the governance layer before it ships.
- Informed consent is captured verbatim, with the exact version of the Terms, Privacy Policy, and Medical Disclaimer you affirmed — a permanent audit trail of what you agreed to and when.
- The data-handling policy is reviewed on a recurring schedule, and material changes require re-consent rather than silent updates.
- Genetic data is never treated as a business asset: no sale, no licensing, no sharing with insurers or employers — by policy, not by preference.
